I'm still not going to go saying "best year yet" because I think we are all just pumped up right now about the season starting this weekend. :) However, the buzz in California is going to be great, only because a lot of those fans have not seen drum corps in August......I can't wait to get out there!!!! HOOKEDBYLEGEND78 Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 I think that the talent level in the majority of corps continues to improve - year after year - which is a very good thing. While I will always appreciate the talent out there, what I want on top of that is for a great show design that is then communicated with passion and executed with precision. Some of the audio clips for '07 I've heard make me initially want to believe that the designers and arrangers are trying to give us some great musical packages this year. If that really turns out to be the case, then I'll be one happy fan! I also request that all brass lines figure out a way to push maximum air through their horns to let the fans feel that brass power (not with a rotten sound, mind you).
