Well, I did as y'all suggested...reboot computer and modem...and it's still freezing. Thanks for the help, guys...guess I'll just have to keep the arrow on the pause/play button. sigh...

OT: I got a popup...says it's from DCP. Wants me to take a survey...4 questions. Is this legit?

Hi Gloryah, I sent you a private message.

can you explain how to do that; sounds like a great idea!

it's super easy if you have appletv... you just have the appletv and the ipad on the same network, and swipe up at the bottom of the ipad and choose air play, and then select the tv! http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5209

you can also do it from phone or computer (my laptop is too old though)

I think you can also do it without an appletv, but you probably need an app or something

Works great with a Samsung Galaxy tab and newer Samsung TV too. http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-mirror-your-galaxy-s4s-screen-on-your-tv/

Works a couple of different ways depending on Samsung TV. Older Samsung tvs that have allshare work well with this setup.

In my experience, Airplay can be a bit buggy and skip sometimes. That might be because I like in a building with about 50 different wifi signals. I have a small PC with an HDMI output that I connect directly to my 58" TV. I have it connected to the internet (fiber). It works marvelously, most of the time. I usually watch live streams on about a 1 minute delay though to avoid any clogs.

Right audio channel is now hotter than the left. Lots of extra crappy pit as well (sorry, front ensemble, not you, but the resulting audio)....

Was just fine at the start of the show. Boo DCI.
