Your past posts have already lead me to believe you're crazy, so I'm gonna have to go with the latter option.

I am saying crazy.

really? you thought crown should have beaten phantom and Blue knights beaten boston?

I must have been sitting in a weird spot or something... but BAC was noticeably better than BK and Phantom was even more noticeably better than Crown from where I was sitting.

I will agree BAC was better than BK my reply was more about Crown and PR.

But Crown 100 percent beat out phantom in my mind.....and in the judges!

The visual gave crown that win and a lot of that credit goes to the guard who scored almost a whole point higher than PR.

Im more interested in margins.. the placements are not that surprising but there are some interesting margins.

Y..you're crazy man. You're crazy. I like you....but you're crazy.

The BK/BAC thing might be a personal opinion. I do believe BAC lacked the same control and confidence in performance that BK had, and the overall design of BAC's show seemed to lack any forward progression. BK, while having a pretty unique, and very non-traditional drum corps show in terms of entertainment value, had a great performance and much more solid show design.

Crown was louder than Phantom, so by Phantom's standards of drum corps success Crown SHOULD have beat them. Other than that, I just expected politics to come in to play tonight, and figured Crown would be ahead. In my opinion it was a tossup tonight. I do think Phantom will pass crown later in the season.

i was not surprised that crown beat phantom. they did it last year, after all. phantom has always been a "late bloomer;" they'll be above crown by the time finals roll around, guaranteed.

bk beating bac wasn't surprising either. those two corps are generally neck and neck with each other, so the fact that one placed a spot higher than the other is not a shock at all.

I had all four corps in the final order after watching it on the FN. BK over Boston mainly because of a very rough BAC brass performance in terms of blending and tone.

Crown was over Phantom because of only a few areas, mainly brass. However I was less certain of this because I felt that Phantom had really strengthened their GE.

FYI - PR was second in brass, Crown was fourth.
