Biggest Mistakes Put on a Field Since 2000

A collection of things you've seen a corps do since the begining of the new millenium. It didnt have to make the finals DVD for it to have happend. In fact it could have just happend at a few shows. But if you saw a corps do it and thought, "Wow that was a bad idea!" list it.

alright so its not really a rip on shows, its things that were in the shows that should qualify as the mistake

BD 05- Ok I had no problem with the narration at all, but seriously

....WHY WAS IT DONE BACKWARDS?!?!?!

Every time I think about how it was done in reverse I do this in my mind: :smile:

Edit: I wouldn't go as far as to say the show in it's entirety was a mistake, just because that seems like a huge low-blow to the members of the respective corps, but the whole backwards thing really seems like a massive design flaw that served no purpose whatsoever

My understanding is that it was done backwards for programming/effect reasons. If they had done the show forward, it would have started fast with lots of energy and gotten progressively slower and less energetic. This wouldn't make for a good ending. At least that's how it was explained to me when Logan's winter guard did the same concept a few years earlier.

lol well I really don't know what to say to this but here's my two cents: 06 Cadets singing. Not really a "mistake" but more of a "unnecessary component" because it seemed like it was just kind of there and they really, really, really could have done well without the singing. I didn't mind it but felt like it was overlapping the music. I loved the show (especially the opener) but the ballad... meh.

I'll go ahead and get these games started with:

Cadets '06. The part of the show where the girl came out and performed opera. Saw it live once but by the time finals came around, it was gone.

I'm with FTNK, I saw them early that year (atlanta Kennesaw MTN high I think) No Opera that I remember.

The added narration at the end of Crowns 2007 Pony Show. The race narration. Dumb. Over the top. Poorly performed didn't add anything significant. Ruined the only good part of that show in my opinion. Ok. We get it. We're watching a horse race. Try to assume your audience is smarter than that.
