  4. Just thought of this while posting somewhere else. Lot of posters like myself marched in circuits other than DCA. Might as well get the names, years and history of these circuits while we can. Have more info at home and will fill in when I can but to start things off. ICA (International Corps Assoc): Early-mid 80s, Empire Statesmen started off here along with rebuilding (again) Westshoremen. RCA (Red Carpet Assoc): late 60s to late 70s, Ron Allard has the championship records on his site (Westshore, Guelph, Rockets, Erie T-Birds were the biggies and MBI every now and then) ???? - late 70s: have Hershey Chocolatier CD with this listed, will dig up the CD for the circuit(?) name Interstate Circuit - will have to dig for more info Eastern States: around in the early 50s, PA and NJ mostly apparently Northeastern Circuit: early 60s until ???? marched RCA and ICA along with DCA

  5. They posted a nice promotional video for Crossmen. There's a contest to see how many views their video receives. Click and watch. https://youtu.be/X2iPaWD0x90

  6. If it's anything like the style they've played since 2008 (with the exception of 2013), I'll be very excited.

  7. Musically the corps are superior to the tick days because they're encouraged to add depth and complexity with reward if performed. I agree however, marching and especially guard is not as precise as in the past. Even your "top guard" for the past many seasons can't spin 40 flags in unison for more than 3 seconds.

  12. Ron Allard has the championship results in his webpage. LOL - MBI probably the big surprise to some people..... http://diceman-radio.com/SrCorps/rcas.htm I always called it the "Not Quite Ready for DCA" Circuit. $1 to SNLs "Not Quite Ready For Prime Time Players".

  13. I believe the Matadors were in that circuit before they became regular DCA finalists. Also.... the Hanover Lancers and Emmaus Sentinels. Someone who has more knowledge of this subject can confirm or deny all this. LOL.

  18. That was our little "abbreviated" version. It was such a kick to play with Frank Diliberto, Frank Ponzo and Glenn Kubacki.

  19. It was an extraordinary gathering, honoring an extraordinary man. I'm sure it would have pleased him immensely to know that a scholarship to help his students has been established in his name.

  20. I thought it was about a moth being drawn towards a flame... i thought it was about a band on the run. they ran in -- they played a while -- but then they had to run away again. the law is relentless.
