Anywho - I want Cadets to play Greensleeves. Not sure about anything else, but Greensleeves would be cool. Who played it in the 70s? Cavies?

The complaint is not the air conditioning nor the heat.

I think for reference there should be a specific email address to channel our complaints and concerns to... what is it? Secondly, I think we should all post our letters here as well. Feed ideas off of each other and try to inspire others to write DCI as well.

Funny to read, not to experience. I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. I seriously felt like getting up and walking out and having someone text me the scores.

That is a huge problem with the venue, in my opinion. It does not feel like you are watching drum corps, it feels like you are in a theater or Opera House or something to that effect. Worst sound at finals, ever. Flattest performances, and crowd at finals I have ever seen or heard. Dumbest, most WGI-y, immature entrance to the field for scores. This alone was enough to make me want to leave the stadium immediately. This is not WGI, BOA, etc. This is Drum Corps. Turn off f'ing 'Lady GaGa' and let the corps enter the field without smoke effects and horrid pop music echoing all of the place.

I will NEVER step foot into this stadium again. I know I'm not the only one too... 6 out of the 6 people I was with all have decided that regionals are the only place for shows next year. The sound was garbled, echoey, and basically horrible. The stadium is way, way too big with not enough escalators. I think having the roof closed sucked out all the energy from the corps, the crowd, everyone. Listening and watching, I was bored by shows I absolutely love anywhere else (particularly HNC). Every corps felt flat and lacking energy, and the crowd hardly clapped anywhere in the 600s. This on top of them playing Lady GaGa and the Black Eyed Peas as every corps came back on for scores made this the worst finals anyone in my group had been to. Never going back to Lucas Oil again.

I'd say averaging between 3-4 full standing ovations at a show is pretty #### fan friendly.

It was absolutely repulsive. I felt like I was at WGI, too, and so did literally everyone around me. Who knew DCI would work Lady GaGa and the Black Eyed Peas "tastefully" into finals? Cheesiest garbage ever.

Someone near me said it well, "Doesn't it feel like they just took all the drill from the past few years and mixed the sheets up?" That, on top of anticlimactic music, the very old gimmicks would be enough to do it. The staff change is the biggest reason, though. I would place monetary bets that SCV's and the Cavaliers' scoring relationship is inverse for some time. SCV will be top 4, if not 3, next year.

It says in the DCI.org FAQ about Lucas Oil that the reason is not that DCI is becoming an indoor activity, but rather finals "can never be rained out." How many times in the past have finals been rained out? Once? Never? I understand its a concern but I don't think something like this, given its rarity, should be DCI's answer to a hugely legitimate issue.

They were everywhere! Duh! I mean, it only makes sense that they were .10 behind BD last night, why WOULDN'T they be .5 tonight.

Agreed. At this point I don't really care which corps beats BD, but just one of them. Please. Preferably Cadets or SCV, but I'm really not picky. Love those two shows.

Maybe you should take this attitude of yourself sometimes before getting so defensive and/or offensive any time someone says anything but positively loving of BD.
