In my mind, it's not hard to imagine DCI going down with the economy. An an economic meltdown isn't that far-out, either. Like Stu said, I think DCI should lower ticket prices (within logic), and possibly, as a drastic measure, downgrade to a lesser stadium than the Lucas Oil. I can't imagine how much that is costing them every year.

If you're looking for pre-written solos, I can't help you. But if you're willing to take the time to combine some different shorter tricks, get "ScoJo's Lick of the Week." Scott Johnson, the BD percussion instructor , goes through some "Licks" that he wrote, which basically means really awesome tricks that you can do with a snare. He combines all kinds of rudiments, and invents some, too.

Oh my gosh. What a show. But who do you think would do the best at it?

Wow, what a song. And yes, a very good choice for a brass ballad. I don't see how drumline would fit in there, though. It's just not that kind of song.
