It's not about demand. The corps that has won the most arguably has the least demand every year.
It's still a tick system. The judges are looking for errors at the highest level. One person making a mistake is what they note not the other (insert number here) that did it perfectly.
What's entertaining to me may not be what is entertaining to you. Maybe what I like in drum corps is the opposite than what you like. Hopefully there's different drum corps that speak to us differently. I may not be a fan of yours and you may not be a fan of mine and that is okay.
The Bluecoats members are very talented and would do well with experienced designers in the visual arena. The Bluecoats may offer a better chemistry for these designers and allow for them to be more successful. Big step up. Great news for the Bluecoats.
When DCI was on PBS they would have segments between corps like this
Even though they do the theater broadcast now it would be cool to bring these back.
So AShy!!
Drum corps saved my life. I had an absentee father. Being part of a drum corps surrounded me with University enrolled young adults. I then became the first University educated member of my family. The speculative accusations don't happen as much you might think.
But wait! Why are we airing this out on DCP?
