  1. Eddie was a good friend to many and will be sorely missed by many, gone way too soon
  2. It's interesting, most of the complaints I've seen are coming from folks who aren't and were never were part of the Cabs
  3. There will be a special tribute to Red at the WDCHOF dinner next week. This has been a rough few weeks for the membership and DCA in general. It's gonna be very difficult not seeing him around, may he rest in peace.
  4. I predict that everyone will come out smoking and get the crowd really pumped for finals. This has been one of the more exciting seasons in recent memory. Looking forward to a great finish to the 50th
  5. To my knowledge, the spot at Fusion has been filled
  6. All I will say is that bet is not as safe as you may think.
  7. Back in the early to mid 70's we had a few of them, I actuallly loved them until Monday morning rolled around, lol. btw, Fran that Conn show was the day the judge John Collum died, it was brutally hot that whole weekened.
  8. Maybe it was an original misprint but 89.3 was the score announced and what was on the original recaps

  11. Nobody partied like the Skyliners back in the day and we never got kicked out of a hotel, however, that was back in the day and the people responsible if something came up took care of their business.
  12. Weather you agreed with the score he gave or not,you always got a complete and thorough read from him. And unlike some others,he would back up his read in the meeting.
  13. Just heard that Rod Goodhart former DCI\DCA judge, member of DCI and World Drumcorps HOF and arranger\instructor for the Yankee Rebels has passed. He was a hardcore but fair judge who was well respected and was instrumental in developing young percussion judges and standards. May he Rest in Peace.
  14. Look on the right hand side of the scores page, if the link is working
  15. To me all of this is under the heading of "Whatever" If you you like it anymore, don't watch it. Those of us who came through the 60's into the early 70's when to me the most drastic changes in DC history happened should be more open minded imo. We were allowed our innovations, let this generation have theirs.
  16. Ain't much into predictions so all I will say is come out and see the show, some very cool programs out there that are starting to come around.
  17. The fire in the woods in Scranton 91 could have been real bizarre
  18. Maybe they should have had their show done
  19. Different. sheets, ctitetia and tolerance
