I don't like any narration, but for the sake of the poll I voted Cadets 2005, instead of using the "I hate all narration" option.

If we use narration responsibly and in moderation, it can work!

There was something about the singing in 2004 Crown that I just really enjoyed, however I didn't like the Beat Generation ...

overall Crossmen 2006 was the best use of narration for me.

I love the Godfather. I love the Blue Devils. The choice was obvious.

I thought the Blue Stars did a great job of incorporating narration into their 2006 production. So much so that "The Gift of Freedom" is one of the most played shows on my 2006 World Championships Vol. 2 DVD.

First amplification, then narration. What's next? Clarinets and saxophones must be just around the corner. Isn't that what BOA and USSBA are for. Nothing against it in the right environment. I don't go to a DCI show to see the band!

Call it my old time drum corps roots but it is my honest opinion that if you need narriation to "add" to what we are seeing on the field, then you are not doing enough on the field.

wow, how many times in how many threads are we going to hear this....As crazy as it may seem, the corps that uses the most narration seems to find some time to march and play a little bit too. In fact, they may wind up doing it more and better than everyone else....and wont dcp be in an uproar then
