Galen
Drums are doing a great job of laying down a groove without being overpowering.
kevingamin
I would say this is the strongest chart of the show. Crowd's starting to clap along.
Danielle
For only having 19 brass, they are putting out a bigger sound than one might expect. Drumline as others have said are also really supporting and doing a very nice job. A really enjoyable show throughout...
kevingamin
I know we keep saying, but this drum line is positively smoking. They have great parts, can play them, and have the attitude to match.
kevingamin
The ending was a little abrupt, no stringing out the end to make it a "drum corps" ending. All in all, a very entertaining performance.
Jeff DeMello
Just to fill you in on the "behind the scenes" here at Patec. We all just moved inside from a VERY windy spot on the 5 yard line on the #1 side, to inside .. well, sort of inside. Since the club/pressbox level still isn't yet complete, there is an "enclosed" pressbox from the 10 yard line to about the 30 yard line. It is enclosed with plexiglass windows in front of us (framed by raw 1"x2" wood) and covered with corrogated plastic roof panels. We can hear very well through the plexiglass, and this will be a VERY much nicer than last year. We won't have to deal with Ernesto, but it is scheduled to be very chilly out here tonight, but we'll be very comfortable. We'll have a picture of the web team up soon! kevingamin
Frontier is coming into the stadium. They, too, have new uniforms. Red and black with white gauntlets and black Aussie hats with short plumes. The guard has some kind of peace sign equipment, fits into the 1968 theme of the show. The pit is all wearing tye-dye bandanas.

Good news- the only Hurricanes that we'll be seeing tonight are coming from Connecticut. B)

Galen
Guard has a little dance movement to open the show as the horns start backfield, turning their opening circle into a block.
