Lance
BD's opener when snareline explodes from behind the pulsating diagonal line after the demon laugh, then sprints halfway across the field, then starts the drum break. Cadets opener where the trumpets show off how well they can articulate while marching at half time...and the bari blast at the end of the opener. Coats, musically, pretty much the whole thing. Cavies, the thing where they play the fugue thingy and add arcs on top of arcs across the entire field. BK: The part in the closer where the trumpets build the chord. Phantom: The altos at the end of the show playing seemingly forever. Oh, and SCV's delayed consecutive rotating lines thing. That was wild. Sorry, I'm not the best at explaining things, but hopefully people get what I'm talking about.

2000Cadet
Cadets: Opening hit and the baritone entrances at the end of the opener (and of course, the trumpets double-tonguing). The lawnmower in the middle of the closer (at least that's what the drill staff called it..) The end of the show from the fast moving company front BD: The Guard and their scary-looking wings. The Drumline weaving through the hornline. Cavies: Everything after "pressure." Phantom: The end of the show. SCV: Can't really remember parts of their show. Crown: Long-a*s chord at the beginning of the show. Guard!! Bluecoats: Guard!! Edited October 7, 2007 by 2000Cadet
mellodramatic
BD: Drums snake thing through the brass space chords. Cadets: The wave kinda thing with the mellos and rest of the brass. Cavies: The backfield ballad type section. Phantom: The trumpet duet. SCV: Didn't see much of their show so I dunno. Crown: The balls long, balls loud chord in the opener and the roar afterward. The high brass feature in the ballad after the mello solo. Bluecoats: The mello part at the beginning of the ballad. Clear as glass with no cracks and perfect intonation and gorgeous sound. festive
PR--1000 airplanes...whole thing. and the big hit in the ballad. Good lord I think I might've lost my mind when I heard that live, and it's so good to hear it on headphones and still get that stupid grin every single time. BD--is becoming the most played track on my ipod. from that space chord thing through the drum thing...AHHHHH!!! again with the stupid grin. I must look like a total lunatic listening to this stuff on the bus every morning. So be it. :P
rai-mello
Self ExplanatoryThe Cadets -When they turn around and play the da da daahh! -Dbl Tonguing, to those horn doppler movement, and WHAM wall of sound and amazing release to cap off with a toss. GE after GE after GE!!! -The baritone entrances at the end of the opener, DA..DAAA DAAA! Jesus with that sick ending drill. I don't know how they do it. -The two super fast rotating blocks spitting through the guard. What a cavie move! -The company front to the end. Jeez Unbelievable Execution. In my opinion the most energetic ending I've seen to a show in the last 5-7 years! Blue Devils -The drumline moving through that line with the space chords, one of my favorite moment of their entire show -The girl who does the split in the beginning! OUCH!!! So badarse -The add on writing began by the mellophones. Pretty creepy, loved that part every time. Phantom Regiment -The pit entrance. What delicate playing. Loved it everytime -The turn around playing was pretty sweet in the opener -Firebird theme. I got really nostalgic. Loved it, goosebumps everytime -The final bird flock. I loved watching it and hearing how they were able to pull it off without losing control. Amazing Bluecoats -"I'll be watching you". My favorite narration lick of the season. It was intense. loved it -The guard moving through the lasers. That's pretty freaking sick. Loved it. Great great GE -Drop your weapons! Everything from then on was awesome. It was again, pure GE! Loved it, incredibly well put together! -Backfield playing during the ballad. Absolutely gorgeous. More to come! w/Stp: Also, Phantom's first hit. It is worthy of gods!
