LAMystreaux
I dont know why I dont just ignore him, Im bored I guess......... Yeah, you really should stop since you're being owned in a big way. Regardless of who was present in 2000, those pesky little things like audio and video recordings actually keep record of what really happened. Regardless of who was present in 2000, those pesky little things like audio and video recordings actually keep record of what really happened. Actually they do. You can more accurately gauge crowd response from a recording of the entire crowd than from being present in a very small subsection of that crowd. Cadets 2000 had a significantly stronger crowd reaction than Crown 2007. Are people actually debating that fact?
cowtown
I can name at least 10 Cadets shows I liked better than 2000. Yeah, they did a good job with it and I saw it several times, including finals - but I don’t like the music very much so I never got into the show. I thought 2001 was way better
Phantom&Phitch
for me 2000 Cadets was the show that got me (and I feel many HS kids) into DCI

Phantom&Phitch
Was 2000 the last year for crazy crowd responses? It seems like they've tamed down from eruptions like PRs crab in 93, or the screaming before the first impact in Cadets 2000 or at the end of the Pit run in BD 2000.... Hrothgar15
I was agreeing with you. Haha. Wow. I unfairly read your post as complete sarcasm... :) My bad.
whitedawn
What ?? Please, go and re-learn your superlatives and how to use them in conversation because you are way off every time you post. "absolutely wild" "Wasn't nearly as intense" etc....you werent there, you can only speak for your opinion, not what really happened, and your descriptions in absolutes makes you seem silly.~G~ i don't know, dude. the crowd response at finals was the most intense i've ever experienced from the field. but hey, what do i know? either way... fun show, great year. 2001 was a better corps, though. Might've had something to do with the fact that the top 6 were broadcast live on PBS that year (at least I think it was that year)... you know how the whole think with people knowing that they're on live television... they go a little bit crazier. Yet another variable to factor in.
