Oh man, so many...

First to mind- SCV 2000, Adagio

:withstupid:

Whatever hornline blemishes that passage may have had (*cough* stickouts), that park n' blow was just incredible.

I'm going to pick actual moments and not just full pieces, like...

The double tonguing section Cadets 2007

The last 30 seconds of Belshazzar is like the coolest written music, hands down my favorite moment.

There is a sick release in 92 Star in the middle of the opener... I have to rewind everytime I listen to the show it's so impressive.

2000 Bd pit break accel... and when the snare accel while the tenors deccel that's some cool stuff, too.

The opening from 97 Cadets whenever I want to impress someone with drum corps I play that.

95 Cavies the bass drum parts in Mars are just awesome.

I'll admit I'm biased because I marched it but the hit in Liquid from 05 Cadets is just cool, all original with a little bit of To Tame the Perilous Skies... good stuff

That's my list for now

A few that haven't been mentioned

1997 Crossmen Birdland - brass and guard extravaganza! My favorite moment from '97.

98 Cadets - the multicolor flag ripples in the corner.

And of course 91 PR - Bacchanalia guard splits

Good one! Incredible, eye-poppingly brilliant guard work. I've never seen anything like it before or since.

First thing that comes to mind is the brass feature in Cadets 2000 near the end of the show, right after the drum break. Amazing stuff. A standing O right there, even before the show was done. That doesn't happen too often.

Scott Deans solo in 2003, that is pure amazing, my favorite trumpet solo in DCI to this day (although '91 BD's trumpet solo and duet were really amazing to me too)

Blue Devils horn intro to Sweeney Todd last year. It's crazy loud, and it's backfield. I love it, wish I could have been in the stands right there.

Cadet's closing company fronts both last year and in '07.

Bluecoats brass feature.

I'm done for now :)

Oh and the Cavaliers drum feature in 2004.

94 BD - Last few moments of the show with the "heartbeat". There were other cool moments in that production, but that has to be one of the most effective "soft endings" I've seen.

00 Cadets - The closer that, IMO, defined what a closer should be.

00 Cadets - The "anything you can do..." section. I still find crazy new things every time I watch it.

07 Crown - The chord.

94 Phantom - The Death Hunt Crab.

98 Cadets - Double white flags in the CG during the hit in the ballad.

07 BD - Drum break to the end of the opener. Helps me on my way home from a crappy day at work to drum on my steering wheel.

00 BD - Love the tag at the end of the show.

02 Cavies - Counting into and including Fight Club.

Here's a few of mine:

'89 SCV - Music of the Night

'91 Star of Indiana - Cross to cross

'92 SCV - Ripples

'99 SCV - The whole opener just amazes me

'01 Cadets - Opening mello runs

'02 Cavaliers - The rotating circle

'06 Bluecoats - Opener

'07 Crown - The chord and the closer

'07 Cadets - Double-tonguing and the closer

That's all for now :)
