JimBurnell
Well, I, for one, find Spirit's use of synthesizers mostly annoying and heavy-handed. However, CROSSMEN's use of it, in the background mostly, to add to the spooky effect....I like.
Pinwiz
And then Buffy staked Edward. THE END.
brassmeaway
yeah, vis ensemble and the pit didn't come out to play tonight but otherwise, definitely a better show tonight
Galen
Are the contras not playing, or have they given the foundation for this "Medea" cutting totally to the synth? Hard to tell with how overbalanced the low ends of their amps are. All the low notes being played by the keyboard are coming out way too much. Scouts and Spirit had the same issue- and so will Blue Devils later tonight. Thoughts on Bones tonight- visually they're getting the interval dirt much cleaner. The forms and lines look pretty readable despite the visual fuzz the capes create. Good job, folks.

ContraFart
this show would be top 12 if they had a drill writer who knew what he was doing

Rifuarian
I don't have any religious objection to snyths -- I think we've seen some good examples of synths being used well so far today (and some not so good) -- but I will never, ever understand why a full, World Class contra line needs any support from a low brass patch. But a great show from the Crossmen, and everyone else, otherwise. Edited July 25, 2009 by Rifuarian
BRASSO
GO BONES!!!! Nice ballad there from Crossmen Nicely done dark themed show. Still in the hunt for a Finals Night appearance. Still lots of dirt in marching. But they've come a long way the last few weeks.
