ajlisko
I'm looking forward to doing "A Taste of Honey" at some point. St. Raphael's Bucs - 1966 and Park City Pride - 2004/2005 and CV - 2001 ... :-)

KeithHall
Kilties did in '75 I think. Didn't the Yankee Rebels do Roundabout? Before I was born of course.
tympmom
Rocky Horror Picture Show Rochester Crusaders played that back in the 70's before musical came out and the crowd did not know what the heck we were playing. Jack Bullock got the score from person who wrote it. It was fun to play and march to. LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!!! HurcsGuyGD.
My first post ever--but here goes......... The best of Motown! A little Stevie, some Smokey, aww heck why not--a little Ike and Tina! And let's not forget about those five piece duwpoppers a la Temptations, Stylistics, and the Delfonics. Not sure if it would translate well into drum corps but it would be an interesting thing to see. As far as an individual song I could picture a big explosive in-your-face Brass version of Mon Cherie Amor by good old Stevie Wonder. That would be the perfect opening statement as long as it becomes explosive and draws the crowd in near the second half. The best of Motown a la Empire? MrKlark
Alot of good stuff been suggested - but Manilow?? not so much.... (just my opinion...) Disclaimer... My name is Rich, and I am a movie theme addict. OK - that's out of the way....... So, I would love to see a show based on movie themes - there's a ton of awesome, very dramatic and emotional movie music which I would love to hear arranged for drumcorps - I list just a sampling for your listening enjoyment (the first one would make a phenomenal soprano/mid feature): Gabriel’s Oboe - Pirates of the Caribbean Main Theme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xwga7lbnSe0 Crimson Tide Main Theme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0uwu43i38c...feature=related Backdraft Main Theme - Gladiator Theme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgCevpO18t4...=PL&index=9 Edited August 11, 2009 by MrKlark

I want to recall reading that they are on the "Don't even bother asking" list when it comes to permission for use.
