bluublood
They're making up for it with ear rings. Holy crap TONS of ear rings on hornline dudes this year! That trend started in 2007 on the San Antonio free day... fun fact.

Gaddabout
Dang. High drum. Just give them the award now. Battery moving and playing faster than I can keep track.
Tone Quality Matters
maybe cadets are in the top two which is why they are with holding their score! Mo. They said the last two scores would be held. Not the highest two
Dr.Mickey
BD has the best soloist EVER!!!! Year after year! ALMOST year after year. Still can't listen to that year... With the kind of talent they have every year, they have about 30 guys to pick from.
Galen
I agree that the 09 soloists sounded a tad harsh tonight. That's why we have semi's. I'm reminded of the old drum corps staff line- "Just because you're the soloist doesn't mean you're GOOD. It just means you're the best we've got!" blindarbalest
The show violates its own internal logic with abandon. Why bother paying attention when every interaction between them is made inconsequential in the end?=== Stupid serious question; if the chairs have some issues covering down, who makes a note of that on their sheet? I think the two characters were designed for a more abstract interpretation than what you want to give them.

marchedmanymoonsago
I don't like having to follow characters... it's like having to read subtitles.
