The BD equipment thread

Recommended Posts

It might have something to do with BD's "System Blue" branding strategy ... Who knows?

It is for sure that BD has done amazing things musically over the years, considering the absolute crap quality of Dynasty horns (and I never like the sound of Die-Nasty snares too much.)

It would be amazing to see what they could achieve as a partner with Yamaha, or another quality instrument maker.

Sadly, I think it's going to be another instrument maker (that rhymes with "ring"). I would have liked to have heard a BD hornline with Yamaha upper brass.

It's called "cashing in on your accomplishments." Very smart! But nobody does "smart" better than BD!

Wow, it's been ten years already???

I remember when we made the switch to Bbs, I used to always wonder why BD didn't go to Yamaha horns since they already had the drums.
