08 Crown

08 Blue Stars

04 Cavaliers

05 Cavaliers (The mello runs and the looooong, unison suspension to resolution was epic.)

As a member of the 1996 Pioneer hornline I have to give a shout out to our ballad that summer "The Journey Home". That was easily the best hornline I was ever a member of, and by far my favorite thing we played.

Also have to mention Southwind 2000 playing Legends of the Fall.

How about '96 Cadets, Western show - opened the show with a Ballad! Loved it.

P. S. That's the "BEEF !!" show

Since there's one for top ten endings, here's one for the top 10 ballads of the DCI era

I'll start this off

1.) SCV '00 (Adagio for Strings)

2.) BD '99 (Adios Nonino, it just got louder and louder)

3.) HNC '95 (Blowing off Steam from Far and Away)

4.) Phantom '06 (Ave Maria)

5.) SCV '07 (St. Gregory the Great from the Church Windows)

6.) Phantom '93 (Fire of Eternal Glory)

7.) Bluecoats '06 (My Heart and I)

8.) BD '97 (As Time Goes By)

9.) HNC '98 (Canterbury Chorale)

10.) Crown '09 (Somewhere over the Rainbow/ Somewhere)

We actually played "Born On The Fourth Of July" for our ballad
