skeptic
O.k. - Here's my photoshop version with long sleeves Ask and you shall recieve! Thanks! That does look WAY better.
noneofyourbusiness
Exactly. Sorry the children don't like it but it is GREAT! Uhhhh, sorry. Been a Scout fan since 1966. Not exactly a "child" anymore. Not thrilled by this one. Hope they can perform in a more modern mode, or they'll wind up being a pretty good drum corps that gets killed by the judges using modern scoring criteria (haven't we been down this road with them before? Entertaining but not competitive? Sounds like SS.......again).
NakedEye
I actually really like this from the Scouts. It is very clean and simple with crisp lines that don't get bogged down in a lot of mess (unlike some other recent reveals). Plus it also SCREAMS their identity. Will be interested to see the long sleeve version. It all certainly seems to go with the time period of their music and the "Newsies" guard outfits. That makes me think it will be a one-year deal, unless they do something period again or modify it (white pants? mmmm). For this show, spats won't look ridiculous, but for anything else they would be a stretch.
BigBadMadMan
AND ITS VERY UGLY..short sleeves, gautlets and spats. hahahahahahahahahaha. this is NOT classy, or good. Crown , Spirit , Madison 0 for 3. ------------------------------------------- sorry I actually thought I had over reacted. so I went back and looked again. only to see the white TIE AND white belt buckle. first impression correct. needs a name tag , looks like a gas station attendant. lets hope troopers and Blue stars are better. any other new uniforms this season ? Cavies is a variation so I give them a pass. Does Crossmen have a new uniform this year? If so, I doubt many Scouts fans would be in here acting as classless as you are right now. Eh...I'm wasting my breath...
NakedEye
Oh, I'm curious if this is an actual shirt and pants or if there are still bib pants under it, and the fake belt has some sort of faux business to make it look like the top tucks in? I would guess the latter.

It's Godzilla!
The scout uniform with a red sash instead of black would be killer.

madalumni
Ask and you shall recieve! Thanks! That does look WAY better. Thanks. But in my personal opinion there's something that would make it look even better still. Make the sash more curved and have go over the belt...like this: (pardon my sloppy photoshop work...my white trim on the sash looks pretty jagged) Edited June 22, 2010 by madalumni
