TomPeashey
wow that's a lot of drum corps! (in years, not numbers of corps) lol and I left out the pre dca stuff 1954-1958 Oswego Pathfinders all aged parade corps - Soprano/French Horn 1958 Mexico Grey Barons - French Horn 1959 Mexico Grey Barons - French Horn 1960 Fulton Gauchos - French Horn (founding member) 1961 Fulton Gauchos - French Horn 1962 Fulton Gauchos - French Horn 1963 Fulton Gauchos - French Horn 1964 Fulton Gauchos - French Horn 1965 Grey Knight Crusaders - French Horn (won American Legion Nationals in Portland OR) 1966 Grey Knight Crusaders - French Horn until labor day when I joined the Brigadiers for the September shows including DCA #2 and when I wasn't busy in 1967 - 1969 I was co-founder and co corps director of the Oswego Black Knights Jr. corps and during that same period, I was host of a weekly drum corps show on first WOSC radio and later WSGO radio and wrote articles for Drum Corps News and later Drum Corps World. and somehow I found time to work, get married, have 3 kids and still do drum corps and YES my wife is a SAINT Biggest drum corps thrill? '65 Nationals was something for sure, but I believe being corps director of a top 5 corps and having my brother, 2 daughters, 2 future son's in law and a slew of dear friends performing in the corps - that was so very special... twillms73
I'll play: 1989- 14th 1990- 13th 1991- 11th 1992- 12th 1993- 1st 1994- 3rd 1995- 9th 1996- 6th 1997- 4th 1998- 6th 2003- 2nd (Class A) 2004- 8th Mini: 2001- 5th 2002- 4th 2004- 1st 2007- 3rd 2008- 3rd 2009- 5th I never made top 10 as a horn player.
