Baridon09
Have you heard Angels in the Architecture? Listen to it The big impact towards the end with the organ will be in the last 2 minutes, most likely being a company front. look on the video website not to be named and search for Cadets 2011 Brass. You'll find them playing an excerpt from Mahler's 2nd. I. want. that. and yes I've heard the Ticheli...
ihatechewis08
I thought you said they were going to get annihilated... Is that a question? I don't see a question mark. Anywho, i was kidding. I was trying to get some excitement going on this forum. Its a good show with good ideas. if they did lose it'd probably be to two corps. Maybe 3.

Too bad since I also love that piece, but the closer should be epic awesome.

That encore doesn't make a lot of sense but I still like it. They definitely have to slow it down and draw out the time more since they will be standing still. seriously

Did they play a portion of Mahler's 2nd (Resurrection)? If so, I must have missed it. I didn't hear it in the show, nor in their encore. I think what they played in the encore was a portion of David Holsinger's "Easter Symphony." I might be wrong.
general_tsos_chicken2
they play mahler 2 as a volume warm up. I'm glad that they aren't playing it in their show because regiment did it in 06 and the show concepts are WAYYY to similar to play the same piece.
