BoyWonder1911
Okay. There are 4 ties at Semi Finals, therefore 16 corps make Finals. That should appease everyone. 1st - TIE - Cavaliers, Blue Devils 2nd - TIE - Cadets, Bluecoats 3rd - TIE - SCV, Blue Stars 4th - TIE - Crown, PR 5th - Blue Knights 6th - Scouts 7th - Crusaders 8th - Glassmen 9th - Troopers 10th - Academy 11th - Spirit 12th- Crossmen

BoyWonder1911
99.15 is hard to achieve - and it's been done twice - but 99.55 and 99.25? Both in the same season by two corps? I don't believe anything is impossible, but come on....I don't think that can be done. At least not any time soon. I'd like to see 10 or more corps score 90 pts or better though - which has never been done, but I certainly think is possible.

I think scores that high are probably more indicative of the level of corps behind first place than anything else. So... I think it's possible if everyone brings their A game. Oh believe me, I see how hard that would be, but it would be cool to see two Corps break the existing record. And I am with Boywonder...it would be very cool to see 10 Corps break 90. BRASSO
Less than a week before the season starts, anyone with new predictions? Mine: I'll just keep my placement prediction simple :... No more than 2 Semi Finalist Corps from last year will finish more than 2 placement positions up or down from last year.

You see when two corps tie for 1st then the next corps is in 3rd not 2nd. so for your scenario it would be 1st - Cavies & BD 3rd - Cadets & Bluecoats 5th - SCV & Blue stars 7th - Crown & PR 9th - BK 10th - Scouts 11th - Crusaders 12th - Glassmen 13th - Troopers 14th - Academy 15th - Spirit 16th - Crossmen

thirdcoast
Send pix of your chalkboard please :-) I know 11 and 12 are a little bit of a reach. But I would love to see both Xmen and Academy step into the the finals mix :-) And I think the Gmen are going surprise some people this season. Hey, I said thanks. Its all good, you like your 8, I like everyone. Its that simple. I think you are right about THE GLASSMEN! Sal Salas is an ICON, he knows what he is doing. Hugs!
