ibexpercussion
Also one that prolly won't be mentioned, but for some reason pops into my mind as very entertaining was Academy 06. No not the level of those above, but still pretty darn cool. Along those same lines is Magic 1994, and Kiwanis 1996.

LancerLegend
I don't always agree with MikeD, but I have to go with him on this one. 27's Danny Boy was bloody awesome. I particularly liked the 76' version. The crescendo would knock me off my feet, and there was no just blowing noise into the crowd. It was more like BOOM!-end of statement! To this day it's one of my shower songs. Thanks Piper .......in '76 we had a "tough" corps, the last perhaps of the old school kind for 27th. In 1977, we started to transition to the new age of drum corps - more kids coming from out of state, more real musicians, and experimenting with new visuals. I loved how they took their time with it and really let the piece build.

JonW
1979 was mentioned a couple times, so I went and listened again and was chilled by the Troopers haunting bari solo just before Ghost Riders closer. "Spaghetti Western" tune, trying to remember the movie (A Few Dollars More - ?)... ack. So much good stuff over the decades.
