Wrong - Jeff Queen was one of them. Check the Vic Firth Web page and look again.

I did and Jeff Queen was one of the drummers during the National Anthem, not during halftime. Hence why I specified that in my original post. Thank you.

The actual percussion playing was recorded by the Cadets. Per George Hopkins via Facebook: "

I betcha I know who pre-recorded the percussion piece with Madonna :-) about a month ago. All was piped in for television and live performance. Great job by all"

That's cool. It was pretty obvious the drum parts for that tune were canned (pretty sure Madonna's vocals for at least that song were also canned). I was wondering if Cadets or some other prominent drum line recorded the parts.

Even though it was via stealth, and none of the general audience will ever know, it's ALWAYS great to see drum corps represent on the big stage!! :thumbup::thumbup:
