TubaJon Posted June 22, 2013 Share Posted June 22, 2013 Spirit had a pretty entertaining show with pleanty of cheese to go with it. The good: man do they sound good. Holy mellos! The bad: the visual program does not match the intensity of the music until the end. They should out perform the visual book by regionals. Great fun show! Good way to start the night! Also, thought BAC was sticking with the red and white uniforms. Like the gray though, slick look. TubaJon Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 Cavaliers! Good: this is the first show i have liked from the green team since samari or however its spelled. So thats saying a lot! This is probably the loudest I have ever heard them... ever. And drums of course. Bad: really not playing as an ensemble well at all. Holes in the sound, feet in the sound not a good balance at some impact spots. A number of breaks in the guard as well. Really difficult show both musically and visually, so there is potential for some deep cleaning!
