PSUBlueBandSax2011 Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Was just going to start one! At intermission...a few quick ones on the 3 so far. Interesting line up tonight. Crown: Just epic. Easily one of my top 3 shows of all time. Was worried they might be a bit flat going first but not at all! Crowd was into it from the moment they stepped on the field. The new ending with the worm hole things is awesome. The whole show works and is ridiculously clean...especially the brass. I do not profess to be a percussion expert but the only thing I noticed is that the pit seems to obscure and battery a bit. SCV: Another fan favorite. Love the show. Great to see a traditional show doing so well. Very clean but not a complex thematically as Crown. The end toss of flags behind the backdrop is really neat. After I left the stadium last night, there were people handing out coupons on the way out that gave people 10 dollars off the TOC show for tonight so I can see many people are taking advantage of it.
