wallace
It was great to hear all the compliments from Prosperie to a FANTASTIC percussion section for their finals performance. Even cooler than a judge showing some love was to hear how good those cats in the battery really were up close. The Cadets need to enshrine that tape for posterity. :worthy:/> Edited August 14, 2013 by wallace

actucker
Cadets and SCV two of the best EVER I really dug SCV this year, and thought they were an outstanding percussion section, but Cadets were truly something special. As Prosperie pointed out, their dynamic range was "incredible". The clarity and control among drastic dynamic changes throughout the show was truly something you don't see from year to year. Interestingly enough, 20 years after Star put out one of the greatest percussion sections ever with much of the same source material, the Cadets have another percussion section that will be remembered for a long time. Congratulations to Colin and the staff, and of course the membership. It was a pleasure to watch them all season.

asdf072
The tape is fantastic! Has anyone posted the judge's tape to YouTube, yet? I'm dying to hear it after seeing Hopkin's comments.

2000Cadet
I'm curious as to how may age-outs they have in their drumline this year.
