Lincoln
Yep. 18 rookies in the 24 person trumpet section alone. I just read in the "Famous, or infamous, corps stories, myths, legends" thread that Vanguard had 98 rookies in '84. Considering that there was a 127 member limit in '84, thats an even greater percentage of rookies than Phantom this year. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/67906-famous-or-infamous-corps-stories-myths-legends/?p=1097158

corpsband
The question is.....why so many rookies? big age-out class last year? and rookie means new to PR, not "never marched drum corps before"... crownisking
big age-out class last year? and rookie means new to PR, not "never marched drum corps before"... This is key, as I'm sure very few people march a corps like PR their first year of drum corps.

thewsquared
I've listened to the show a few times now, and I can at least say that I think it flows better than last year's music did already. I've already stated I like the music and the arrangements.

I know the sheets require variety of musical style, but it's out of left field.
Eleran
The question is.....why so many rookies? There were a lot of beheadings recently?
