drumcorpsfever
Hey Bluecoats: enjoy a free day today! You've definitely earned it! Still pumped about your performance last night! This show is the best thing to come along in drum corps in many, many years. TILTing toward the top!
corps8294
Brilliant perfection/Perfect brilliance! I was at a party last night watching this and I was going crazy. I would love to meet the creative team behind this show, shake their hands and say "thank you for this show." As I said before, no matter where the Bluecoats finish up this year, this is my favorite drum corps show of all time.
superOOk
Had percussion judge 2 scored the same as percussion judge 1 last night, Coats would have been .2 back from BD. it's gonna happen!
seen-it-all
If Woody had gone straight to the police, none of this would have ever happened.
Kamarag
Had percussion judge 2 scored the same as percussion judge 1 last night, Coats would have been .2 back from BD. it's gonna happen! No, they wouldn't have. You are adding when you should be averaging. Their score would have gone up, but not as much as you claim. I wish DCI would put the formulas on the recaps so people wouldn't make these assumptions. That aside, love Coats' show. Fun stuff. Wish that I could see this show live, but it's definitely the next best thing. Bravo Bluecoats! Enjoy the rest of your TILTing this Summer. corps8294
Are videos of individual corps shows still available from DCI? I know in this day and age of Youtube, everything is free; but I would love to have a DVD of the '14 Bluecoats finals performance.

GE scores are average of GE1 and GE2 added together (40 pts possible) 3 Visual scores are added together and divided by 2 (30 pts possible) 3 Music scores are added together and divided by 2 (30 pts possible) In a regional or championship week show there are 2 GE1 and 2 GE2 judges AND 2 percussion judges (which get averaged) for a total of 11 judges. A "normal" show would have only 2 GE judges total and 1 percussion judge. Had last night's show had only 8 judges, and those 8 were the judges most favorable for the Coats in GE and Perc, they would have scored a 90.
