The guard was small, but they to me didn't seem too out of character. CorpsReps doesn't say. And what would they have been penalized for? And while we're on the subject of Surf: I also never saw their 2002 production, "Our Side of the Story: Celebrating the Spirit of Youth", with music of West Side Story, but I have heard that show on CD, from which I cannot fathom how they didn't medal in their division--instead they finished ninth. Ohhhhhh, that last set. lol NEVER GUIDE A PERPENDICULAR LINE WHEN THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU IS WRONG!!! Oy. Awesome show, though. Loved it. Super gorgeous ballad. Academy 2012 gets my vote. Their Left of Spring was probably my overall favorite show that year. Avant garde rarely does much for me on the field, but something about that show just clicked with me.
