PRomoter
You know, one other thing. I don't think clair de lune needs any dressing up. Regiment did it several years ago, and they did it very true to the original score. No need to improve on something that is already perfect. PRomoter
Opener and Clair were improved last night. Cut out several redundancies.

regimentlvr
So I have watched this year's show several times now and for the most part I like it. The end of American in Paris needs work, it is kind of a let down. I think back to 2005 with the company front that ended the song and that was effective. Also, the last 30 seconds of Organ Symphony are weak and without emotion. I hope this is rewritten musically and design wise. Looking forward to seeing this show evolve!

If they would kill the electronic pipe organ like noise (it sounds more like a B-3 organ), I have no doubt the show would improve significantly. Since designers are designing for Lucas Oil Stadium, maybe the organ sound will be better in a dome?
Bruckner8
They need to find/buy the organ patch from the Andrew Lloyd Webber production of Phantom of the Opera...even it means more speakers, more amps, more synths...whatever it takes. Cappybara
Any updates on how the show is progressing?

Kinda hard to compare this version of the Organ Symphony to Phantom's 1990 version, imho. That's THE definitive drumcorps version....
