Buick Dad
Pretty sure his intention was that it's nice to see the Phantomettes taking a nice and light-hearted approach this year. They've been quite fierce for the past 4 years.Totally my intent. Sorry it sounded so much like troll bait.
Sutasaurus
Yes, Swan Lake was/is a ballet. There are many scores to choose from.
grammie12
I've not seen the movie, but as I've always understood it, Breakfast at Tiffany's takes place in NYC. This makes the show concept all the more confusing, unless it's "hey, what if Holly Golightly went to Paris?" I think she must mean Audrey Hepburn, not Holly Golightly. Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly in the movie.
phd-student-TTU
Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly in the movie. While true, it still has nothing to do with Paris.

kdaddy
Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly in the movie. I understand that. But Holly Golightly didn't have anything to do with Paris. I was trying to give you some credit, as Audrey Hepburn played other characters with strong ties to Paris (e.g., Sabrina).
kdaddy
who cares? Maybe nobody, but it's worth noting. I mean, if the central character in City of Light is modeled after Holly Golightly (a character with no ties to Paris), then they could've easily had portrayed Gollum or Maverick from Top Gun. Just seems like a bit of a stretch to me. Now, Maverick on a Paris shopping spree on the other hand would be delightful.
phd-student-TTU
who cares? phd-student-TTU, that's who... The judges perhaps? How are you supposed to add depth to your show by using something totally unrelated (other than having Hepburn in it!)??? It's like Crown having a concierge from The Plaza Hotel in their show just because Tim Curry also played Satan in a couple of movies. It doesn't make any goddamned sense!
