HornTeacher
I'm still waiting for someone to do a shortened version of the final movement of the Mahler 3rd Symphony. The constant ebb and flow and incessant build would provide one heck of a carrot-on-a-stick for the audience.
MelloMatt
Music Corps Should Do Currently up to date (Completed in about 21.5 hours, including sleep and school. Wow!) 277 hours of music which is slightly over a week and 4 days worth of music. Edited March 6, 2014 by MelloMatt
mingusmonk
Music Corps Should Do <- Spotify Playlist. Up to page 15 edit: Made progress Great idea. Nearly 700 tracks already. I did a quick scan and I only have 8 of these personally Starred. 5 of which were my suggestions anyways. Still, lot's of good listening there. HornTeacher
Just sitting here thinking about the various stances, opinions, viewpoints and plain ol' desires (the MUSIC ones, people -- please!!!) of the DCP community and drum corps fans when the thought suddenly struck me... "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima" by Krzysztof Penderecki. Talk about wanting to be the proverbial fly-on-the-wall...

"Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima" by Krzysztof Penderecki. Talk about wanting to be the proverbial fly-on-the-wall... That would be quite an interesting choice. Or some Morton Feldman thrown out onto the field. DCP would explode if that kind of music appeared on the field
DrumManTx
The world of Video Games has A LOT to offer in my opinion, some incredible stuff. Have been listening to the "Journey" soundtrack from the PS3 game, beautiful. Blue Stars in 05 did Final Fantasy, which was a really cool show. Would love to see that delved into more. kdaddy
How about "Enigma Variations That Aren't Nimrod"? There's also some great stuff in Elgar's first symphony.
