Periscope Master Thread

I was wondering if anyone out there in DCP-land might be willing to make a simple tutorial for "periscope" that I could follow. Specifically, how to find and view the broadcasts...I was unable to use this last season due to my phone being too old...but my recent forced upgrade has now allowed me to use this app. I'm on an android.

I have no desire to broadcast myself....just interested in how to find and view different corps broadcasts etc...whether I have to follow users to see content etc...just not doing so great on using this app...

Thanks in advance!

I found the ones yesterday that were broadcast from the Crossmen show by looking on the map on the app for live broadcasts in the area of the stadium. A live broadcast appears with a red circle. Recent broadcasts are in a different color. When you click on the red circle, you see what's being scoped. I start following the person scoping and you instantly will get notices when they are scoping again.

I think you can just search on the Twitter handle. I already had mine setup from last season (except Pacific Crest), but here they are:

@CarolinaCrown

@DCICrownBRASS

@PCDrumCorps

@SoA_Drums

@SoABrass

@Crossmen

@yeaguy (George Hopkins)

@DCI

A number of these haven't been active this season.

Good luck.
