They try like heck to keep the activity (or the tradition) going, in spite of the fact that they may very well be "down in numbers" from what we all once knew them as being. They do all of this, yet have to hear "But they're only 15" or "Pretty presentable for only 20 old farts" (thought, I'm sure, if not outwardly spoken). Let's enjoy it for what "it" is within that group. They're the ones putting themselves on the line, attempting to keep the activity alive in their own locality, and in their own way. It is obvious to me that, despite the hardships, and despite the trials and tribulations -- they still not only choose, but even more so, ENJOY that which they still hold themselves fortunate enough to continue.
