trumpetcam Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Yes we do. We had a marching band from Indonesia compete in the DCI Quarters yesterday. They utilized saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trombones. The Corps Director clearly identified his unit as a Marching Band in the interview with Dan Potter. sure, but not in Open and World Class, so why bother including it in I and E? I realize we have woodwind players, but it still is drum and bugle (loosing meaning brass I guess).. Sadly, there were more woodwinds and ocals compete this year than brass. Seems odd to me.
