Liahona
Can we just skip to intermission to find out whether Boston or Madison made it in? In the last 32+ years...since the elimination of the TIC system in 1984...there has been only 6 times where the 13th place corps at prelims/quarters has taken the 12th place spot in semi's and got into finals...1989, 1990, 1993, 1994, and 2003 and 2012...just 18.16% of the time has this ever happened. Congratulations Madison. edit: forgot 2012 Edited August 12, 2016 by Liahona
DrumManTx
I love the Academy this year, but Crossmen are on a different level. I don't think Academy should take over them As long as they get to play Saturday night. <

MikeRapp
Exactly, like BD, they have figured out how to pull the audience in to the show, instead of only pushing out to the audience. Beautifully done Not as many levels as Ink or Felliniesque, but similar approach. They trusted their talent and their story, and trusted that the audience would get it. I also think the staff did a brilliant job of creating a show that was perfectly suited to their talent. This is a text book example of show design in every aspect. Peaked at exactly the right moment. So excited to see if they can establish themselves as a finalist next year. DCI needs another west coast heavyweight. goodmello
I haven't been a fan of Crossmen in recent years. This is an ok show with AMAZING COLOR GUARD! I don't see the large difference between them and Madison/Boston.

shofmon88
the Bluecoat soloist started a cult... omg You know, as long as whatever they do is classy, I think it's ok. Looks a lot better on camera than the soloist looking off woodenly until they return to the field. Let the viewers know you enjoy what you do, and sell your performance!
