SCV 2017 - 50 Years of Class

Very cool! It seems the last few years they've started working on a new ending when coming through Oklahoma. Is it tagged on to the original ending or a modified version of the original? What'd you think of it?! Realize it was raw/unfinished...just curious!

Seemed the same musically. Instead of a massive block at the end, all the rolling snake props rolled back in an upside down triangle with 2 props folded against each other at the point on the 50, making a backdrop. (Terrible explanation I'm sure) and one horn member coming out of said prop.

Watching a good drum corps rehearse is just the best.

Any idea who was running rehearsal tonight in Mustang?

EDIT: I suspect it was Chris Alexander, who resides in Edmond, OK.

Now THAT would have been awesome for the end of Spark of Invention!

I keep forgetting that Chris moved to Edmond.  I so miss sitting by him at Tollhouse as he worked with the corps the last two weeks preseason. Chris is a class act.

...baffled by the recent results... if the scores really are this tight, how is it the placements remain the same??? Anyway... Amazing show ... scoring is very curious... but all the same, a fantastic show to be sure Vanguard.

Although scores remain tight SCV did increase the spread on Crown tonight.  SCV was ahead by .450 when they met on the 22nd and by .700 tonight.
