garfield
Congrats to him for making it this far! And Crossmen are coming to Dublin! Yes, that would be fun for his family to see him march. Many on the other side of the family have only the vaguest notion of what this thing is that he does.
garfield
Maybe? Please... Yea, lots of good drummers vying for just a few spots, and Crossmen's callback weekend is the same weekend as the "sure thing" Open class corps 100 miles up the road. Go to San Antonio and miss the audition that will all but guarantee he'll march? Maybe...

That corps up the road is probably headed for world class this year, and last year they had an awful lot of competition for 10 snare spots last year. And they beat Bones in drum line battle 2 of the last 3 times, for whatever that's worth :-) Edited December 6, 2016 by WaxDCIFan

Marching Thursday night and winning a DLB vs. (likely) marching Saturday night and being beaten in DLB by an OC corps... Hmmm...tough call. As has been the case since the beginning, the key is to make the Bones line...

Hmmm...tough call. ... Well I can't argue with that... I also assumed your were referring to the open class corps 100 miles from San Antonio, my mistake 👍

So m any potentially big decisions to be made...
