Empirical data is the best data.

I really don't want to go count the number of people who said this or that about Bloo's performance, so I'm just going to stop talking about it.

let's talk about Blue Stars -

good opener but then the ballad bogs down -

need to make some changes with this too long ballad.

Great job on the new closer - Great drill through out and looking clean!

my main problem is with the ballad - it's too darn long --

I just don't know how Blue Stars can catch Phantom if they don't somehow rewrite the middle sections of the show.

Yes, you are right. SCV will score an 80.200 at finals (wait semifinals, they won't make finals) because they have worked out all their issues and have peaked. Bluecoats have so many more issues than SCV that they will beat them by at least 17 points at finals.

That's deliberate misinterpretation. What exactly do you think that will gain you?

Wow Mandarins score pushed Madison out of the 12th draw for San Antonio

If only we were allowed to compare scores between shows. But I hear that it's not possible.

The ballad is my favorite part of the show but I guess different strokes for different folks.

Do agree the new closer is great though.

This could all get interesting with Crown hitting 81.9, Cavies 79.85, Cadets 78.45 and Boston a 77 in Orlando, wow!  This will get shaken out in a couple of weeks in San Antonio, but the scoring tonight will make for some interesting talk over the next few days!

You just can't compare one scored show with another. It seems like the other southeast tour got a big bump in scoring from the previous night. Everyone did that competed.

OK, so what did you think of SCV's performances each night?

I am genuinely interested to know if SCV and/or Bloo was underscored last night and/or tonight relative to the other corps.

I'll let an SCV superfan comment on that. I'm probably not the best person to do that. I was quite shocked at the order placement from the two nights, just based on Bloo's performance tonight.

Guess very different in person, based on the feed I would have had Coats in front

It was very different in person. SCV was on fire, and Blooo was so quiet. There had to have been some kind of electronics issue that made the feed sound fine, but it was really underwhelming in person. I have seen Bloo's show a number of times on YouTube and Flo, but in person tonight I missed half the sound.

SCV was raw power tonight and I'm not surprised they won.
