Sorry it's been a few years since I marched. At regionals they would release scores preliminarily throughout the day rather than all the scores at the end of the day. It was always a big deals listening for Dan Potter to announce "And a preliminary score for the Mandarins is..." I think this is the DC equivalent of the movie days when you got a cartoon before the main feature. I like this show better every time I see it.
