Even if they are in last place as this competition starts tonight, their show is enjoyable to watch and listen to and greatly improved from the last time I saw them. Lovely flugelhorn soloist! So much better to be “seeing” them live via FloMarching than trying to find anything near as compelling to watch on TV. All melodies actually came across tonight (which wasn't true in Annapolis). only design tweak I would have liked to hear would be the trombonist taking the Thenardier melody from One Day More.
