brassboy
Ah, and the wind has claimed its first victim (that I've seen): one of Shadow's back flats.

You have to vent them. Jim spent all day doing that for CT.
N.E. Brigand
Only saw the last two minutes of Chops, whose show seems to lack a closer at this point. Bigger than in past years (I counted 17 brass, 17 battery (5/5/5/4), 9 pit, 10 guard = 53) but pretty rough at this point. Edited July 7, 2018 by N.E. Brigand I can't count. drangin
That trombone - ouch. If you don't know what "in tune" sounds like, why are you playing on trombone? The baritone will automatically get you closer to the pitch.
BlueStainGlass
I'm pretty blown away by this performance. Light years better than last year design, writing, and playing. You wouldn't believe that's only high schoolers.

N.E. Brigand
test1; test2; test3: Govenaires are smaller than chops (14 brass, 12 battery (5/3/4), 9 pit, 11 guard = 46) but their brass sounded much stronger in a show that still needs a lot of polish. Also, watching on high camera, I only got the theme form the musical selections (and drum major's commentary), not Edited July 8, 2018 by N.E.
