DQ was there then as well. Yep, back when it was a baseball field. I stood in that DQ line many a year.

This thread has become toxic. Komnick Derangement Syndrome is causing people to spin every conceivable event into a reason to fire him (or Petersen, or the entire BOD, or all of the above). Trying to blame the corps for late delivery of uniform jackets, and create rumors of unpaid bills, was a smear job worthy of a political party. and Stanbury was very public that storms blowing out the power at their plant caused the uniforms to be late. That has done more to kill them then anything. Going back to their roots might be just what they need. - Blue Devils do not have the same idenity as 20 years ago; nor SCV; nor Bluecoats, Crown, etc. They did not have to go backwards to go forwards. - spending the next few years endearing themselves to the fans would be a great start in the right direction. - If the right direction is entertainment first and foremost, and competition taking a back seat if not in the trunk (see Jersey Surf) then yep that would be the right direction. - Winning isn’t everything. - An incomplete statement typically made by those who have never won a World Championship. Once a ring is on that finger or gold is around that neck, whether DCI or other another Major League, any other finishing position thereafter is a little hollow. Those who have tasted the top position in a Major League complete the statement this way, "Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing." I've won. it isn't everything

As someone who has spent my entire career working in sales leadership positions for manufacturers, if a power outage caused a late delivery, then they were already way behind. The uniforms should have been delivered well before the season started. Also, power outages typically don't last very long and would have minimal impact on order delivery. I have some swampland in Arizona for sale if you are interested... Edited June 30, 2019 by FlamMan

We are staying in Madison near the capitol for a couple of days, watch fireworks, going to hang out on state street, go to the Parthenon for one of the best gyros in the world, visit the capitol, and just experience one of my favorite cities in the country before heading down to Whitewater for the show Saturday. 1
