Any world-class corps can come crashing down if all the people responsible for making it world-class leave. That is what happened at Teal Sound, AFTER their application to WC passed with flying colors. The concern that should have been raised is why was there no DCI re-evaluation when this massive leadership departure occurred. That has been an evaluation trigger going back to the year 2000 (Spirit). that Teal in some cases wasn't as financially sound as they should have been. Of course we all know it was a smokescreen because they'd take another slice of the pie, and we all know Hop wanted every pennt he could get for the Cadets. other wise bands wouldn't in some cases pay up to $3000 to do USBands. but the point is....did DCI follow up once in the club? Unless a serious emergency occured, I am guessing no

Or will a transcript of the call suffice? names and dates would be a good start. After all, it's a rumor here and elsewhere despite my typed word appearance, i am actually a nice guy. IDK timing but could some of this be due to at one point Crown & Boston (albeit briefly) being part of YEA?

What I'm really looking for is the answer to: Is there a WC corps today that is NOT a "member" corps and is only a "Participant" corps? Sorry... did no one answer this question? Of the 22 world-class corps, 20 are voting members. Genesis and Music City are non-voting WC corps.
