g00fyg00ber Posted June 25, 2022 Share Posted June 25, 2022 (edited) Yeah, take it from a band director in rural Ohio, with about as many winds as they had - just getting out there and putting together a show like that is an accomplishment for a lot of those kids. Mistakes are more exposed, and that will always be the catch with a smaller group - but the feeling of pulling off an entertaining show despite your size is SO much more rewarding as a result! Long story short - students that live in small rural areas who maybe only have the resources to march smaller groups still deserve quality education and praise for their efforts!!
