Well maybe you are misunderstanding me, but my comments are on the activity as a whole. We just happen to be discussing the Bluecoats in this thread.

I am with you on this.  It IS the amount of the narration/storytelling that imo is so dominant (and bothersome to me) that everything else, brass, percussion, guard, is there to support the narration.  Not narration supporting the presentation and performance.
