I liked Arcade Fire before I got into DCI but now all I hear is the SCV cover. I'm always let down when I expect the big screamer but then remember I'm not listening to Babylon🤣 What's a song that always makes you think of drum corps? But largely because we marched that in my high school in 1986 as my first exposure to it. We were actually discouraged from listening to any Drum Corps arrangements on it until we'd listened to the original a number of times as that's what our chart was going for. It was a really cool experience I have no idea honestly how I found it ‘cause it took a bit of scrolling, and it was just the thing i was looking for to assist you😂 you can really see how faithful Bloo are to their source material in Bloo 2014 as well as many of their productions too, this year included, which I have to give them a lot of credit for!! That's understandable, given the demographics here, but your recollections (and those of others who have a long history in the game) are much appreciated by the younger group. They get it, and years from now will be telling others about the great repertoires of 2022 for the same reason. Music is a continuum, a great river. It doesn't matter where you put your toe in. You are connected to all of it.
