Here's the difference between the two best moving guards, BD and Bloo...

BD's choreo is written to keep their heads upright and facing the audience.

Bloo's choreo is multidimensional. They face many directions and drop their heads more.

The latter is based more squarely in safer, more-contemporary movement techniques. This is why they look more mature to my eye.

I love the Blue Devils. I almost always think they are going to win. Tonight, however, I think the door is open for BAC to take them down. You know the eastern crowd is about ready to lose it.

BD seems a little flat.  Listen to the crowd reaction compared to earlier in the year.   I wonder if they have peaked already.  Not their usual pattern, but who knows?
